All programs currently offered throught ICW are accredited by the World Council of Postsecondary and Religious Education (WCPRE). We also have additional accreditation through the World‐Wide Accreditation Commission of Christian Educational Institutions (WWACCEI). Both WCPRE and WWACCEI are private organizations and are not associated with the U.S. Department of Education. Concerning accreditation or certification: The value of any accredited university, accredited bible college or accredited online seminary degree is subjective. It relates to the amount of work that goes into earning the degree, the student’s attitude and aptitude, and external circumstances related to the school itself. Other contributing factors are the student’s surroundings environment, including home life and daily schedule, and his/her experience. Accreditation is common in the United States of America, as all other countries regulate colleges and universities through government approval. In the United States, accreditation is a voluntary process governed by independent accrediting agencies that are either recognized by the federal government or not. The license to operate a college or university is regulated by the state government and is not considered accreditation. Each state has different guidelines concerning universities, seminaries, and Bible colleges.
